Restrict Contributor to Blog only

I am intrigued to understand how the following is being achieved by others.

I have a website with half a dozen (6) people that I want to be able to create blog content but not edit other pages outside of the blog.

is this achievable in Squarespace and if not, without going down the route of "send the content to me and I will publish" how are others achieving this

You can't limit a contributor to just editing a blog page. You can add "basic authors" but they can't edit.
