ModallyFragile
My site has a secondary domain which reflects what the organisation used to be called, and I'm wondering whether its worth the money to keep it. At the moment, it just redirects to the primary domain. Is there any way to tell how often people access the site via this redirection (i.e. how much the secondary domain actually contributes) comared with my primary domain? TIA! Geode 1 Link to comment
Solution Ziggy Posted October 25 Solution Share Posted October 25 You may be able to track the usage to some extent via referring links as generally the only way someone will come to your website via a secondary domain is if you are giving out that domain for other websites to link to, you won't be getting any organic traffic to a secondary domain as Google sees that it is redirecting all traffic to the primary domain so will only offer that in search results.
