caleb
Hi Everyone! I have a website on the Native template (www.cavetime.org). It is a commerce website but also an on demand video subscription. Before Squarespace rolled out their member sites and course ability, I had to integrate my website with MemberSpace (a third party app) to block out member only pages and allow subscriptions on my website. Now I see that Squarespace has rolled out their courses and member sites, however the template Native doesn't allow for the courses to be integrated. I'm open to moving templates, but how would I do that and not lose data, SEO, custom CSS, and everything I've spent years to tweak on my original site? I need the new website to b able to take subscription payments, donations, and sell merchandise. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated! Link to comment
paul2009
You can build a new site on Squarespace 7.1 but it will be a new website project where you must design from scratch. Also, you'll lose your historical information (sales, payments, analytics) and all subscriptions (through Squarespace) will need to be cancelled and repurchased. The good news is that Squarespace Member Sites, Courses and Videos Pages will fully protect your Squarespace assets, unlike third party membership products, which aren't able to do this.
