CharlieReep
Hello, I will try keep this as simple as possible. I am currently building a site for a customer who sells large wooden gates. This customer has come to us after seeing a previous site we made for the same style company (selling wooden gates). On this previous site, It wasn't made in squarespace, and was custom built. The question is, if you view the link below. You can see a "configure and buy" option for these gates. As in, the dimensions of the gate between a range will calculate a price which is predetermined maybe via a graph or some code. Do you know if this can be replicated in squarespace with code. To clarify this would need to be able to calculate a price depending on the custom dimensions of the gate. https://www.wortleybrotherswoodengates.co.uk/shrewsbury-straight-wooden-gates I hope this makes sense Kind Regards Charlie Link to comment
paul2009
This isn't practical to achieve on Squarespace because you don't have control over every aspect of the website. Critical areas are locked down, and prices of products are fixed, not variable. For the benefit of others reading this, I'm not suggesting that Squarespace isn't great, it is! You can produce a professional-looking website very easily, without technical knowledge. It's a managed platform so they take care of the hosting, server maintenance, security, and updates. However, it does mean that you must compromise on the level of customisation that is possible. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️ About: SQSP User for 17 yrs.
