Changing Header Text Color on Home/Landing Page

Hi! I am working on the landing page for my photography website and on the home/landing page, I would like the text of everything in my header (including the logo) to be white. On the rest of the pages, I would like everything to stay black as it currently is. How do I get the text to be white on the home page only? I figured out the code below but it only works for background color and my background is transparent. Also, I already set the header to "dynamic."

Is this code in the right direction??

body.homepage header#header {
  background-color: white !important;
}
