I am trying to create a slideshow for the front of my site with numbers and titling. ( Not on Squarespace 7.1)

Hi, I've had a site on squarespace for many years and I want to make a gallery block on the front of my site that has either

< > or previous next and a 1/55, 2/55, 3/55, and so on..along with a title of each photograph

 My site is www.amisioux.com, the top image would be the positioning. 

I don't want to have to completely migrate my website so I'm asking if anyone knows the css for this or can help me customise my site? Thank you so much, Ami

Hello, I am attempting to create a slideshow with description for the front of my site. I'm on the old squarespace using wexley. I would ultimately like the photograph with a <> or previous next with a 1/55, 2/55, 3/55...and then the title of each photograph.

This seems quite simple and obvious but I can't figure out how to do it. I'd be really grateful to have the support.

I remember I used to do this (show 1/55, 2/55..), on SS 7.1, not sure if this is possible or not on Wexley, can you share link to page where you use slideshow?
