Setting Home Page as the Featured Product Page

Hi all,

As our business grow, we have more products. currently our home page is displaying all products visible. However, we only want the home page to show a subset or a particular category of products.

The white background products at the bottom, we want it to show in one category, and visible when user click the button on the left. We want to only show products with black backgrounds on the home page. Can anyone provide some guidance how to do this？
