Possible to hide archive (folders) behind member areas?

Recommended Posts

Hi,
Just now building our first Squarespace 7.1 site.

We want to add member areas behind paywall. And the site contains a huge archive of information on hundreds of products inside folders. We want the site visitor to be able to browse the full archive as a guest, but we want the information on the products to be hidden behind paywall/member area.

So if you click to our archive, then use to look at product X, there is a short description on it and a link that says "for more information click here" for instance. When you as a site visitor click this link we want you not to be able to access this information if not already a member. And if not a member we want you to be prompted to become a member.

We have not yet figured out how to do this. If dragging the page with information behind the member area and then testing the site, clicking the "click here" just sends ut to the edit page within Squarespace? And we can not create folders under the member area.

Does anyone have any tips, is there some code we could use, or this function not just possible perhaps?

Thank you!
