Add code to button

Hello,

I would like to track button clicks on my site for retargeting on LinkedIn.

The instructions are:

"Track action events like button click, the code below needs to be installed to load when that button is clicked.  Insert code to load when action is clicked or email your developer"

Then it shows the code.  

I am a n00b who can't work out how to add the code and it is outside of the scope of support.  Can anyone help please?
