How to make text appear on image when user clicks on the image

When the user clicks on the image, text overlay will slide in from the left side, keeping the same background but making it a bit darker. 

If the user clicks on the image again, the text will disappear and it will go back to the original same as before with the title. 

I would appreciate any help/suggestions. Thanks.
