capitalgcreatives
I want to create a second Squarespace website that's the agency side of our business and have it be agency.capgmedia.com to be a subdomain for capgmedia.com, our productions (the main one we're building) division. Is it possible to do this through Squarespace? When I tried to register the domain, it would let me do agency (DOT) cap media. It just came up as agencycapgmedia.com Can someone provide some advice, please? Thanks! Link to comment
internetjess
I believe what you're talking about is a subdomain. This should help: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205812058-Creating-a-subdomain-for-your-Squarespace-site?platform=v6&websiteId=6514e9c73cf79c229210bba8 Link to comment
JoanGarroway
Hi💫 You want it to be like agency.capgmedia.com, a subdomain for capgmedia.com. Sounds like a smart setup for your agency side of the business, I dig it. One thing to check is if you've got the domain set up correctly in your Squarespace account. Sometimes, it's about adjusting the domain settings within Squarespace to get that subdomain you want. You might need to navigate to your Squarespace settings, find the domain section, and see if there's an option to add a subdomain like "agency." If it's still not working, maybe you could try deleting and re-adding the domain to see if that sorts out the formatting. Be nice, and don't forget to like or upvote my replies if they were helpful 🌸 Link to comment
