ThomasBeilman
My site provides two "language classes" -- English and Spanish. To move from one language to the next, users can click on the word "English" or "Spanish" in the upper right corner of any screen. Today I wish to add a third language option. Howver, when I add (type in) the two lines of code to create this third language option, the system simply reverts back to its original state, with just two language options. How to edit the custom code so that my desired edits take effect? Note: This is surely a simple, everyday action for experienced programmers, however I am not such a person, thus I seek your expert advice Thank you! Link to comment

ThomasBeilman
Ziggy, Thank you for your reply. The specific code I refer to -- the code that creates the two language classes -- can be found in the attached document. Also visible in the attached document is are the words "English" and "Espagnol" that the user can click on to move to the English-language pages or the Spanish-language pages. ThomasBeilman
Ziggy, And further, the custom code two create the English and Spanish language options was provided by the professional website developer who created the site. Unfortunately, he is no longer able to provide assistance. I am now the administrator of the site. I can figure out the specific code that is needed to add a third language opton. And I can type in the desired code. However, getting it to take effect (I keep looking for an "apply" button!) remains a mystery to me. Thank you sincerely for any insights you can provide. Ziggy
Just now, ThomasBeilman said: And I can type in the desired code. Where are you typing in extra code? If you're doing it in the chrome developer tools, then that's where the problem is. Chrome developer tools is a way of inspecting any website, but it is not a way to make lasting changes to your website. For that you need to find the code in your dashboard, probably in Header Code Injection. Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers!
