Waitlist Notification and date

Is there a way to get notified when someone puts themselves on a waitlist for an out of stock item? There's also no date when someone does get put on a waitlist and a date would be helpful to identify when they visited the website and requested to be alerted when an item is back in stock. 

This would be very helpful! I just happened to be bouncing around the admin portal and saw 2 dozen people on a waitlist for a high margin item. No idea how long they have been there but they probably are lost sales at this point!

Hope they make this available in 2024. Waitlist option does not serve its purpose well if the site owner doesn't get notified when they signup on an item that is currently sold out. Dates are also not being shown so you don't really have an idea of the exact time/date these people have enlisted themselves. Please help us Squarespace, we don't want to lose potential clients. 

I agree! I want to use the wait list for classes that are full. If a spot opens up, I’d like to contact the first person on the list (first one to add to the wait list for that product) instead of just adding inventory which opens it up to the general public. And I’d like to be notified when people are putting themselves on the wait list so I can see if there is maybe a need to add another class. I shouldn’t have to go digging through so many layers in the admin manually to get this info and not be prompted by an email or some notification in any way to let me know I should check.

And I need to know the date they added themselves. We use the same product listing each semester (so urls stay the same for repeat customers), so I need to know how to see which semester it was and ideally remove requests for old classes.
