Applying store discounts to subscription members

Hello, If this isn't the right spot please let me know. On my website I have a subscription option and store page and i wanted to link my discount to the subscription options so that whoever signs up for the subscription gets a discount on store purchases, I have the discounts and I have to subscription options I just am not sure how to link the two.
