annienic12
Hi. I'm very new at this and would appreciate some guidance. I'm trying to create a website for my small business and I'd like to include individual page descriptions to help with SEO. My question is do I need to keep including the same keywords for each page? Basically, we supply/ blinds, curtains & awnings to our home city and state. If I'm doing the page description of a specific product type page (eg roller blinds) do I need to include the city and state in the description for that page (even though the page itself doesn't include those words) in order to come up in search engine searches for that city/state? For example; roller blinds city/roller blinds state? The only place the city and state would appear on that individual page is in the footer. Clear as mud?! TIA Link to comment
Ziggy
Yes, make sure your SEO page descriptions are all unique and all include the search keywords and location that you want to appear in. Try and write it as a sentence, don't just put the keywords in. Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! annienic12
thanks Ziggy. So just to clarify, if the keywords for my site are Australian-made, Perth, Western Australia then on each individual page (regardless of whether those actual words appear on that specific page), I need to include them in that page's description? Ziggy
I would try and include those on the page wherever possible as well as in the page description. Can I also suggest that as well as location keywords you also want to use blinds, curtains & awnings (not specifically these, but words that reflect your products/business) annienic12 1 Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you.
