Goto web.dev and run gtmetrix on your pages and follow the tips for how to make them better. These are performance related queries that google rases against your website and which you can intervene to make better.
There will only be so much you can do because SquareSpace has some inherent optimisation issues that it has not fixed.
When you have made changes to your website, go into the errors and request Google to Validate them. Then wait 30 days and see if they are fixed.
