404 error connecting Pinterest

Hi - I'm getting the attached message when I try to connect my site to my Pinterest account. Any ideas how to fix?

has anyone experienced a 404 error trying to connect your pinterest account? Customer support hasn't helped and it's been a month

I've had the same error code for a few months. I was searching for a solution. I tried the support chat, but it wasn't helpful. 

I recently reached out to live support and the representative told me that this issue has been happening since August. A fix is being worked on, but there is no ETA. 🙃 Has anyone else in the forum been able to bypass this 400 error?

Hi there, Like many of you before me, I had this issue come up when I launched a site last August. With no help available from Customer Service, I've recently been advised the error message has now been resolved. However, changes have also been made to the settings panel which means that previous instructions to claim my website on Pinterest no longer apply. Again, not helpful advice from SS Customer Service.

Can anyone tell me if they've actually managed to claim their website and how they managed to do it? I'm seriously losing the will to live. It surely isn't meant to be this complicated.
