Gapping between summary block and next block

I am currently using a summary block to create an image carousel in the header. The issue is there is a gap above and below the image that I can not get rid of. I have cropped the image to be the exact ratio of this block. 

The bottom one is the bigger problem and looks like it might be caused by the meta data I have turned off.

@Swallowtail Hi Blake, we can likely remove the space with some CSS. Can you share a link to your site?
