Squarespace and its overall offering

Why does squarespace constantly change the template your site uses, break things and then refuse to take any accountability or even try and help you fix issues that they cause. The biggest issue I have experienced is that fact that I am constantly having to keep my website up to date, fix things that i didn't break and its just getting tiresome. 

The customer service is also atrocious!
