Chess enthusiast looking forward to add chess games via pgn etc ...

I am a former wordpress user.

I had a go daddy and also a hostgator account back in the days.

I would use wordpress to add chess games. I would use the plug in listed in this thread.

What are my options at this point.

To display a chess game pictures don't really cut it.

I want something where user can click on small arrows and display the moves.

How to make sure this is compatible with squarespace back end stuff? This would never worked with wordpress back then

Your best bet may be to hire a developer who can help you integrate the lichess.org API into your Squarespace site.
