Ntindall
I just finished building my website for my Copywriting business and was looking at UberSuggest for SEO analytics. It's showing that I have a high-priority issue on my page. I deleted the "CART" section from the template that I chose for my page, and that is the issue that UberSuggest is bringing up. Is there any way to completely delete that CART from showing up in Google searches at all? I've included a screenshot of what UberSuggest is pulling up. I'm just not seeing a way to remove the CART from the backend of my site. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks! Nathan Link to comment
Ziggy
You can't remove the /cart page, it's built-in to Squarespace. You don't want it or need it to be indexed by Google even if it is in use, and it's not being as you can see for Ubersuggest, so I would suggest just ignoring it. JoanGarroway
Hi, Nathan! One option is to block that specific page using the robots.txt file. Another option is to implement a "noindex" meta tag. To provide you with more specific advice, it would be helpful if you could share the URL of your website so I can take a closer look. By the way, sometimes url analysis may be really helpful in situations like yours. Anyway, waiting for the updates! That's exactly what is currently happening, Ubersuggest is seeing that it is blocked and flagging it as an issue, when that's simply what you want to happen.
