nourishandsow
I reported this in a support ticket on 8/24, but this issue hasn't been resolved. I'm posting it here, so others are aware. When using the Monthly scheduling template for your account, any calendars that are set to a different time zone from your account time zone will have appointments scheduled at incorrect times. This does not affect the Daily scheduling template. See here about selecting your template. For example, my account time zone is set to Eastern (GMT-04). When I schedule an appointment type on a calendar that is also set to Eastern, everything works perfectly. However, when I try to schedule an appointment on a calendar that is in a different time zone, it incorrectly adjusts the time to match what it would be as Eastern time, but still uses the calendar's time zone to schedule it, which means appointments get scheduled incorrectly between 1-3 hours after they should be scheduled, depending on the time zone of the calendar. Here's an example of what happens when scheduling an appointment for a calendar in Pacific (GMT-07) when the account time zone is Eastern (GMT-04). For simplicity, I'll say the user who is scheduling is also in Pacific time, but their time zone does not affect the outcome. The user selects a day and time, say 9am for their appointment, which is 9am Pacific. When they continue to the next screen, the appointment time gets adjusted to 12pm (adjusted forward 3 hours to match Eastern time). If you ignore this thinking "Ah, it just adjusted it to Eastern time zone", you'd be wrong. If the user confirms and creates the appointment, it will actually be created at 12pm Pacific as long as that time is available for the appointment on the calendar. Here's what Gmail shows on the appointment confirmation email: It scheduled it at 12pm Pacific instead of 9am. Often the time is not available, so scheduling fails saying that time is no longer available. However, the 9am slot is still available, it's just that the scheduler is looking for an appointment slot at 12pm instead of 9am. Hopefully this hasn't affected too many others, but it is impacting our business quite a bit because we have a remote team with their calendars set to their own time zones. Link to comment

nourishandsow
This issue has not been resolved over 2 months later, so we are still forced to use the daily scheduling view to schedule appointments. If anyone else has experienced this, please submit a support ticket and bump this thread. Link to comment
rachnicmass
I am noticing my acuity scheduler is showing I am in "Hawaii" time, but I am mountain time. It is supposed to choose based on computer location, but my Square Space confirms my site as listed in the correct location. I am not sure what the discrepancy is or how to resolve as all self help links do not apply. Link to comment
