Fixing Header Woes on Blog Post Page

Hello,

Is it possible to add a section atop the blog post? For the rest of my site, I utilize an image at the very top of the page, which in turn functions as the background to the header. This is the template I employed with the image/header combination I'm describing: https://www.squarespace.com/templates/lusaka-fluid-demo

But because individual blog posts don't have this ability, the header on a blogpost is drastically different from elsewhere. I have custom social icons which make the default header on a blog/blog post page less than ideal.

I'm assume this would be a difficult workaround, but throwing it out there.
