AntonyO Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Hi there, Hoping somebody can help. We currently have our main business site that introduces ourselves and our products and services, but we do not have a 'Shop' as such as our services are very much bespoke to each individual customer. However, outside of our main business, we have a sideline - a simplified version of the main business with 'off the shelf' products. What I would like to do, is make use of the commerce section of our main website and link to that from the outside advertisments. The problem I have is that ideally, I do not want the main face of the business to be seen as it could muddy the water for those that just want a simple ordering process. Therefore what I ideally want to do is to customise the navigation menu on the initial Store 'landing page' (which is current a non-linked page) that external customers are sent to. BUT THEN, also customise the navigation on the subsequent product pages also. I have have found ways to hide the headers and footers, but this isn't ideal - one reason being that if you hide the header, you also hide the shopping cart. The short of it is - can I change the navigation menu on my landing page and the subsequent following product pages? if so - how? If not - can you suggest a workaround? If I have to hide the header completely - how can I then bring in a shopping cart button to the product pages? Thanks in advance Anyone got any ideas?
tuanphan Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Hi, You can use this plugin, it allows you create different headers on different page https://www.will-myers.com/products/p/main-nav-replacer Or you can add all items to header, then we can give code to show some to this page, show other to another page,... I wrote a guide on this, you can check here: https://beaverhero.com/2-mini-sites/ In case you still can't find right code with option 2, you can share url, we can give the code Also, if you want to hide header + show cart button only, just share page url, we can give the code Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.).
