Aurora
Hi, I'm using heading 2 for my subtitle above the fold and would like to leave it in my main font. Further down on my homepage, I'm using heading 2 as headings to introduce text, and I would like them to appear in a handwritten font. I've contacted customer support, but they couldn't help me. I'm puzzled as to how I might achieve this in the easiest way possible. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you! Link to comment
Ziggy
You need to set this up with CSS. One typical way is to set up a heading that changes to a different font when you set it to italics. If you can share your website URL and the font you are wanting to use I can provide you with a snippet of Custom CSS to do this. Aurora 1 Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. That's genius, but wouldn't work for my site as I'm using italics above the fold. Anything else you can think of? My site isn't live yet, so I can't share my website URL. Many thanks! Ziggy
You can add a site wide password so you can share you website before it's live. There are other ways to target specific text, or use code to create an h5 heading with the font, but that would require using HTML and a coffee block for the text instead. Creating an h5 heading sounds great, though I have no clue what a coffee block is and if I'd be able to do that since I'm a total beginner to coding. I haven't chosen a second font yet, and I'm still researching how to save my fonts locally due to privacy regulations. Could I get back to you on this once I'm ready? Link to comment

Yes. This is a start for saving fonts locally, and then you can assign the custom font to an h5. After that you would use a code block with markup a bit like this: <h5> Your heading goes here </h5> https://squarefortytwo.com/squarespace-guides/custom-fonts-on-squarespace-71 Aurora 1 Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you.
