Customizing Site Header - Button availability for Mobile Format

I would like to customize the site header and be able to do 3 things, 1. add more elements to the site header than what the template allows, specifically more than one button, 2. I would like to have the buttons show up on the overlay menu instead of in the site header for the phone format and 3. have the cart icon show up in the in the overlay menu with the rest of the buttons instead of in the header.

Is there a code that can do this?

#1. I usually use two ways to do this

• Turn Navigation items to buttons with CSS code, then you can add 2, 3, 4, 5...buttons
• Use jQuery code to add second button to header

#2. By default, button will appear inside overlay menu. Or you want it appear next to burger menu?
