Member Areas for Newsletter Site Compared to Beehiiv

Hi there, I'm building a newsletter site and have been trying to pick and choose features from https://www.beehiiv.com/ and customize what's on Squarespace accordingly. There's one feature that I'm not sure if it's possible to configure on Squarespace. From the reference site (https://www.bayareatimes.com/), they show their daily post from their newsletter. However, if you click on each post, they show some part of it and you would have to be a member in order to see full content. So there are a few things I'm looking for:

1. How can I show some part of my newsletter (or a post) like the reference site on Squarespace? (I'm now using Mailchimp to send out newsletters. I guess I can archive them from Mailchimp to my website)

2. The membership on the reference site requires a user to enter an email address. You'll receive an email with a link. Once you click on a link, you become a member, no password required. Is it something that can be done on Squarespace?
