Change gallery for mobile only

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hello there! I'm stuck on this one, I'm updating the website and I'd like to have a grid gallery ( like the one I already have) for the desktop version, and a single image gallery with arrow navigation for the mobile, since it's gonna be too long to scroll.

I read somewhere that it's doable on the 7.1 version, but I can't figure it out.

Attached you can find a couple screenshots

website is joetamponi.com

Thanks!

@JT998 You have the option to create an image gallery with arrow navigation just below the grid gallery on your website. With custom CSS code, we can ensure that this gallery is visible only on mobile devices. Once you've created this gallery, I can provide you with the necessary code. Thank you.

Hey there! I created all the galleries actually, everything is ready!

Fact is, now on mobile you have to scroll a lot to see all the images, and when I tried to create another gallery for the mobile view only it changed the desktop view too.

So if there's a magic code trick to handle this, I'd thank you so much!

Again, site is on joetamponi.com, version is 7.1

@JT998 Hi, Apologies if my previous explanation wasn't clear. What I meant was to replicate the same gallery that you have on the desktop view, with arrow navigation. Then, with the use of custom code, we can set it to display exclusively on mobile devices. Once you have created the gallery, I'll be able to provide you with the necessary code. Thank you!

Oh no thanks a lot, but that's not what I'm looking for.

Standing to what I read somewhere, I thought that there was a way to have two different views in 7.1.

So there's no way right?
