Cassy
Hey folks, I was playing with the idea of creating a store in my Squarespace site primarily for selling "service" products -- mostly online live webinars (Zooms) that I would sell tickets to. When it came time for me to pick the business site payment option that made sense, I wasn't sure which subscription plan to chose because I wasn't sure if "service" products were included in the 9% transaction fees for courses, memberships and video sales, or if this particular type of transaction fell under 'transaction fees for product sales' - which is either at 3% or 0% depending on my plan. Another question: How does anyone buying my 'service product' get the information/the Zoom link for the webinar automatically sent to them after they buy their ticket? I didn't see an element for that information when I was building the product. Is that something I'd have to individually and manually send to everyone who signed up/bought a ticket? Thanks!! If you want to see webinars over Zoom then I suggest taking a look at Squarespace's scheduling solution - Acuity Scheduling. Connect video conferencing to Acuity to automatically create virtual meetings for your appointments. Acuity connects directly to Zoom (and other video conferencing providers) and you can choose which appointment types are linked to virtual meetings. The integrations work for one-on-one appointments and group classes. (You cannot connect video conferencing to other areas of Squarespace, such as commerce or events.) Did this help?
