A SS url showing up in search results: https://mydomain.squarespace.com/about is showing up in search results under my actual website - can't remove it with Search Console

Hi folks. My website https://tamlinbotanical.com is showing up in search results just fine, but so is a search result that is https://tamlinbotanical.squarespace.com/about-us. It shows up right under my proper website results. I can't seem to ask Google to remove it via Search Console because I get an error message saying that the url is not in my property. What is causing this result to appear and how do I get it removed? Thanks for your help.

This usually happens if your site was live (not password protected) before the primary domain was connected to the site. You may need to add the other domain as an additional property before you can make changes.

Did you ever find a solution to this issue? My client is experiencing the same thing and we are having a lot of difficulty resolving it. I am at a loss. And the client is very frustrated at this point. Help!

Lately the built-in domains are being quickly and aggressively indexed. SQSP should noindex these URLs when a custom domain is used. Circle members can upvote this feature request in the Circle forum: https://forum.squarespace.com/ideas/noindex-on-built-in-domains-r758/
