Cannot Transfer Domain from Squarespace to Elementor

Hello,

I recently bought an Elementor/Worrdpress account and I want to shift my domain there.
I have a domain bought on Squarespace at the moment. Learnmonade.com

I want to shift it to Wordpress/Elementor, but despite following the instructions listed, I cannot seem to transfer the domain.

Mainly, when I try to add the A record and CNAME, Squarespace pops up with a 'we cannot add this record' message. Please find the screenshot below.

Would be lovely if someone could help me or guide me to the right direction with this, thank you!

You must remove the default Squarespace records first. Your domain can’t point to another site when the default Squarespace DNS records are in place as they would conflict. This is why you see the error. 

To delete the default records, open DNS settings for the domain and, in the Squarespace Defaults section, click the red trash can to delete your default CNAME and A records.

alright, that's done. I transferred the domain, but now i can't seem to receive any emails with the domain workspace account.
