CSS for hover state for P3 link text ?

Hey friends!

I might pull my hair out if I don't figure this out. 

The desired effect is a color change on hover for this p3 link text.

Have tried this:

 p.sqsrte-small a: hover {
  color: #0C8DC0 !important;
}

And many version of this..

I will LOL if there is a place that i can customize this in the Site Styles panel. 

Can anyone help? Thanks

I guess inside a tag is a span tag, so you try this code

p.sqsrte-small a:hover span {
  color: #0C8DC0 !important;
}
