Love this site - any ideas on how to accomplish this?

This is an inspiration site i found for my own new design. https://www.jacobpritchard.com I am not sure if it was designed in SquareSpace or not (can anyone tell? or tell what template?) at any rate,  Customer support said the only way to get this effect (with the images off kilter and not on a grid) is to use custom code. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Likely something i could do myself or is it really advanced? Thank you!

It's a Squarespace 7.1 site using Fluid Engine.

support is telling me that its fluid engine but the embedded videos use special coding (not video blocks)?  Any ideas on how to accomplish that, or exactly what role the custom coding is playing? Does Fluid Engine not allow video to be dropped in?

Hey @nataliefaye

Gorgeous site! I think the layout doesn't look too complicated, but the way they have overlapped the content blocks makes it look really interesting!

A handy way to find out if a site is built with Squarespace is using the Squarespace ID Finder Chrome extention: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/squarespace-id-finder/igjamfnifnkmecjidfbdipieoaeghcff - install it, then click it when you're on a site - if it's Squarespace, all the ID blocks will show.

I think there is a way using Custom CSS to change the ratio of videos that you've added to the site using the Squarespace video block. I found this tutorial which explains how to change the video block ratio. Could be helpful in achieving what you want to do: https://insidethesquare.co/squarespace-tutorials/video-block-size
