abbarrella
I am working on a site for an animal rescue. We have a fillable pdf that I would like to embed on the website and then have that pdf sent to an email? Is there anyone that can help me with this? Right now I have it linked to the pdf document but it's not as seamless to fillout the form and email it off. I am looking for an easier option to fill and send.... I tried just doing a form on the website itself but it was so hard to read the information received and it wasn't branded so that is why I am turning to the fillable pdf. Thanks for you the help! Oh website is k3chf.org/adopt if you want to view the form I am speaking of. Abby paul2009 1 Link to comment

Squarespace doesn't have the necessary backend code to allow a user to submit an interactive PDF web form online. Your choices include: Using your current solution, where users download a PDF, complete it offline, save it to their device and then return it by email. As you've pointed out, this isn't a great experience for users who may be confused by the process or not have the skills to allow them to save the form and then submit it. This is a particular problem on mobile devices, which typically account for over 70% of Squarespace visitors. Build a form using a Squarespace Form Block. This will be difficult because of the length and relative complexity of the form when compared to the Form Block features. Build a form using a third party form provider like Jotform, InvolveMe or TypeForm (these are affiliate links. If you make a purchase I may receive a tiny commission. All opinions remain my own.) You can create really beautiful forms on some of these platforms but the downside is the additional cost, especially for a charity. I appreciate this is not what you wanted to hear, but I hope this helps. Did this help? mcpetey
I spent the past two days figuring out how to make a fillable pdf form with formulas on Acrobat, only to find out it only works inside Acrobat. Lame Link to comment
