Code showing in header and google body

Recommended Posts

I am managing a fiend's website for his business. Code text is showing in the header area of the site  on all pages except for the home page. How do I remove this text? It is showing on desktop and mobile.

You've added style code to the header code injection without labelling it as style code so it is being rendered as plain text, and sadly has been picked up by Google Search. You can fix it by adding the styling code to the Custom CSS panel or wrapping it in style tags like this:

<style>
.header-title {
    position: absolute;
    left: 50%;
    top: 50%;
    transform: translate(-50%,-50%);
    z-index: 9999;
    text-align: center;
}
.burger-inner {
	display: none !important;
}
</style>

You can't get rid of this as easily from the Google search results as that's controlled by Google, but you may want to get on Google Search Console and manually request indexing.
