sanetsuikkeli
Hi, Is there a way to change the text and CTA-function of the add to card -button on a shop page? I'd like to change the text to Get quote and make the button to direct a client to email app (mailto:mailaddress.com) Also; this change should affect only on one of the shops on my site (I have two of them - one public for everyone and the other password secured shop for B2B clients, which is the one where this change should appear only). So the code should follow the site ID on the Custom CSS -page. Sorry if this explanation was a bit challenging (English is not my first language), but I'm available for more questions regarding this. Why are you using a store page when you are wanting to offer quotes? Why not just build a page and use regular buttons that you don't need to code for? sanetsuikkeli 1 Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! Initially I've built the shop on a shop template since I thought that direct buying would've been the best solution until I figured out that it's better for me to offer quotes since my clientele is so versatile and I'd like to keep some sort of flexibility with the prices. My B2B product offering is a huge pattern design collection including hundreds of designs. So the main reason for not replacing the page layout has been that there's just so much content involved and a lot of work behind the current shop page. But good to know that my problem is that tricky to be solved, so I should probably start replacing the current shop with a new page layout soon. 🙂 Thanks again for your message! - Sane Ziggy 1 Link to comment

Although you could hide the add-to-cart button with some CSS, you'll need some JavaScript to be written if you want to add an alternative button with a different caption and functionality. The script will need to check whether the store's collection ID is a match and then add the alternative button in the correct location on the Product Detail Page. If you would like to purchase a pre-built, pre-tested solution then you may want to take a look at my Product Enquiry Form extension. It can add a 'Get Quote' button on a product-by-product basis. You simply tag the products that you'd like to affect. Did this help?
