Marlon_Bu
Hi all, I'm trying to replicate the image slider transitions shown in the 2 sites below on a new site I am building (fluid engine) but I am not sure a) it's available or b) is it possible on fluid engine? http://stefanzander.com/https://www.robertbenson.com/work I really don't want users to move between projects with the <name of last project name of next project> pagination controls as they appear at the bottom of the screen and could be easily missed (although if I can't recreate the image slider transitions, I will keep the pagination controls, does anyone know how I can move them above the images please?) as I much prefer the auto-slide transition when a user gets to the bottom of the bank of images as shown in the sites above. It also remains on the project selected when user is returned to menu making the navigation of many projects a breeze for end users. Does anyone have any experience of the above and can you help me at all please? The site I am building is: https://www.sequoiastudios.co.uk/hospitality Password: ********** I look forward to hearing from you. All the best, Marlon Edited August 31, 2023 by Marlon_Bu Hide password Link to comment
tuanphan
This is complex. You can consider using Grid under Pagination. Marlon_Bu
I don't think it is too complex. Both the site examples I listed were produced by 2 photographers that I know just used "out-of-the-box" SquareSpace components but maybe this particular interaction has been discontinued or it doesn't work with Fluid Engine or...I don't know! tuanphan
Both use Squarespace 7.0 version. Your site is 7.1 version Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). Answer within 24 hours. Solution Marlon_Bu Posted August 29, 2023 Author Solution Share Posted August 29, 2023 OK, so it's not possible to replicate this cool functionality with SquareSpace 7.1. That's a shame, seems a pity to remove cool stuff but hey-ho! I'll rethink this element. Link to comment
