How can I remove all favicons/browser icons (including the default Squarespace block)?

Good day,

How can I remove the favicon/browser icon on my website so that there is no icon, including the default Squarespace block icon? I'm looking to make it completely blank. Some ideas I have are adding a completely transparent logo or something. I chatted with Squarespace support, and he suggested that I may be able to delete the default logo with CSS, but I don't know how. I've never seen this question asked before either. Any advice?

Thank you.

The easiest way is probably to upload a small transparent image and not worry about code. Curious though, why do you want to do this rather than add a branded icon?

Thanks for getting back to me! It was my client's decision not to have any logos or icons.

Hey CassAggett, I changed the favicon like you said. While on my it works is transparent on my dekstop, on mobile it's still the default squarespace block. How can I fix this? It's been like this for over a day.

Thank you.

@JDesigns_ this is likely due to browser caching - try Google 'how to clear browser cache + your browser name (e.g. chrome)' for instructions ๐Ÿ˜Š
