Multiple blogs with different settings

I have 2 blogs on my site. One is a standard blog with written posts, the other is a series of bios, only accessible through our member portal (I used a blog so they could be easily searchable). I would like to have different settings between the 2 blogs. For the standard blog, I would like to display the author name and author profile, but for the series of bios blog, I would not. Is it possible to have different settings for each?

Many of Squarespace's collections (like blogs) have settings that are shared between collections and settings that are independant.

For blogs the meta settings are not shared. Image aspect ratio is is shared. If you want to alter the later please see the following.
