New to creating blog pages especially on Squarespace

Can anyone suggest where to place access to Blogs on a website

Website is one I maintain for my wife in relation to a local charity group here in France.

I'm thinking of a blog for the Committee so they can quickly update membership with info as appropriate

Purhaps another for the local book clubs they run 

etc etc

Hints and suggestions would be most appreciated.

I've not dealt with Blogs before as an advanced warning

I'm not sure what answer you're looking for. Often the best place to put a new page that you want people to access is in the header navigation.

If the blog page (not just some posts)  is for everyone, create a page in the linked section of your site, if for only certain people put it in the unlinked section and provide those folks with its address  "yourdomain.com/blogpagename"

If it's ok to be public, the main linked navigation will be easiest. Go to the Pages menu (now located in the Website menu), click the + sign next to Main Navigation and then Blog:
