Njfuller
Hi everyone, I need to duplicate my website, but it is 100 pages + (probably about 190). I want to duplicate it in Squarespace to create another, similar site. I can't see an obvious hack to this (let me know if you do of course). In reality, my site is 7 or 8 main pages, then about 170 pages built on the same template. These are in 7 folders. My question is this: Is there a way to delete e.g. a couple of folders worth of pages, then duplicate the site, then undelete or restore the folders? Does anyone else have an idea of how I can duplicate maybe 10 or 15 pages of content for my new site? Edited August 11, 2023 by Njfuller Earvin 1 Link to comment
Ziggy
Although it would be better to delete content and then duplicate the website, it would be quicker to duplicate and then delete unwanted pages (you can delete entire folders at once, but you can only restore deleted page). I also wouldn't suggest deleting content that you want to recover. In summary, duplicate the website then go through it deleting the content you don't want and also if you can delete unused images from the asset library. Njfuller
Hi Ziggy, Thank you for the response. I would love to do this, but Squarespace prevents duplicating a site with more than 100 pages. Link to comment

You should* be able to delete the pages you don't need in the duplicate website and then restore them, BUT I obviously can't guarantee that you'll be able to delete and restore them. Njfuller
Yeah I've done some experiments. I would have to manually delete and restore 120 pages. Not sure it's the right solution! Link to comment
