Jump links to lower on same page not working - help!

Hi, I've spoken to two agents and followed both sets of advice and this still isn't working! 

The button at the top of the page 'This is the one for me' is set up to jump to the code text that reads 'Here's what happens next.'

It still doesn't work and it's driving me a bit crazy now. So much time spent on this.

I've even cut and pasted in the code that was kindly supplied by the lovely agent. 

Any clues as to why it isn't working?

Wow, that's sorted it. Fantastic! After over three hours of faffing, chat response, and reading Squarespace help articles. Is it alright if I have a little cry? Or at least rest my head on the desk for a minute? 😄

PS A slightly cheeky additional question for anyone following this (and tbh I don't really care anymore, I'm just glad it's done), but it seems to jump to the centre of the section the code block is in, rather than the section heading, which could be confusing. I'm guessing this is the only option.

Hi @Ziggy, thanks for this . However in my website the ankorlinks don't work in safari. they do work in chrome. but because I have an iphone and a mac book and a lot of poeple will look on there phone this is kind of a problem. I have spend now 2 whole days in finding a solution and i'm getting a bit nerveuos because nothing works. Can you help out?

Sadly not. I don't have a solution, it doesn't seem to be a problem with Squarespace, but a problem with Safari/iOS.

do you have any advice for me? And do you perhaps know how is it possible that it did work 2 days ago..?

Complain to Apple? Buy an Android phone? I'm afraid I have nothing better to add, I've heard lots of people complaining but not seen anyone with a solution.
