Changed my domain name but old one still appears on google, doesn't work

Hi all!

I recently realized I wanted to change my domain name. I have a built-in domain from Squarespace that used to be  . I've since tried to change it to my business name, Honeysuckle Doula (honeysuckledoula.squarespace.com) and though the change is confirmed on Squarespace, when I search google with my business name, the original domain name still shows up - and what's worse is that when I click on it, it says "no such website." What to do? How do I ensure my website sitll can exist when I google search Honeysuckle Doula?

Hi @jumorel the real issue is that your site is not yet indexed, site:honeysuckledoula.com. Verify the site on Google Search Console and submit the sitemap and it will work itself out.
