How can i change the colour of 'lines' in the footer ?

Recommended Posts

I want to add a line block to the footer, but for some reason, when I do this, it appears in a bright turquoise colour, not the grey colour it does across the rest of the site (and how it is set in site styles) - I had a look in site styles but I can't find a line colour setting in the footer section. How can I change the default colour of lines in the footer so it matches the line blocks in the page content?

I have added it to demonstrate the problem, but I will remove it again soon.

I see it now.

You have this in your Custom CSS, remove it to get rid of the colour on the line:

.Footer-blocks .sqs-block-horizontalrule hr {
    color: #00d0ff;
    background-color: #00d0ff;
}

Thanks! I can't find that in my custom CSS anywhere, but I now see a 'lines' colour select option in my site styles, neat, did you add that?! Trouble is, as I don't know the colour that's set for the lines used elsewhere on the site, I can't match it (for now, it's matched to the blackish colour we use instead) - is there a way you could add the line colour option for the content too so I can see what it's set to? Thanks so much

I can't find this in the custom CSS. Since my last message, I can now see and change the colour set for the lines in the content, but there isn't an option to change the lines in the footer to this colour now. Could you help? Many thanks in advance.

Use that Custom CSS and change the hex codes:

.Footer-blocks .sqs-block-horizontalrule hr {
    color: #000000;
    background-color: #000000;
}

If you've checked through all of your Custom CSS panel and can't find this code, perhaps check the page header code injection on your home page - just in case.

Hover over your home page in the pages menu, go to the settings icon, then advanced
