How to add ARIA required="true" in Contact and Other Form Fields?

Looking to make my site more ADA compliant and one of the requirements is adding in ARIA required="true" for required form fields.

Form Block fields should already include the aria-required=”true” attribute if they are marked as required. This should include:

  • Address
  • Currency
  • Date
  • Email Address
  • Name
  • Text
  • Time
  • Website

There does appear to be an issue with the NumberPhone and Text Area fields which I've reported to Squarespace Customer Care.

If you're also seeing this bug, please also report it to Customer Care using a support ticket. If you experience any difficulties reaching the support form, please read how to contact Squarespace and see if this helps.

If you're seeing something different, please post back with details and a link to the page on your site.
