Header Button not visible in Mobile View

This is an unpublished site that I am developing.  The heading only permits one Button, and I've activated it.  The button is visible in desktop view, but is not visible in mobile view.  Per another post, I tried manipulating Site colors as well as button attributes, to no avail.  This must be a newbie mistake, but I could use a pointer.

So... the Button only appears when the Menu has been selected?

I guess that the first time I read the following, I misinterpreted it:

• Depending on the layout you choose for your header on a computer, the button may be grouped with your navigation links or apart from them. On mobile, the button always appears below your navigation links.

Anyway, thanks for your help.  I learned a few things.
