Trying to add custom text after price depending on the category the item is in...

Hello,

I've been using :

"/* Text After Price */
.product-price:after{
content:"| 12oz"
}"

to add a little tag for the weight of the item. I'm now adding a category for a different type of item that will be heavier... Is there a way to use a code similiar to that but depending on the category the product is in it either says " | 12oz" or " | 16oz"
