linking to the middle of a page

Hello all, I'm fairly new and in the trial period of creating my site. I'm having trouble creating a link to the middle of my home page. I'm simply trying to have a link at the top 'our kennels' and then when clicked I want the home page to scroll down to that section. Eventually, I'll probably have a separate page for this link as my content increases, but for now, I'd just like the home page to scroll to that section. Here's a video of what I'm talking about.
