I think I've cracked it! Thanks @Ziggy I went to Styles and Unhide "Customer accounts link Position" which then gave me a "sign in" icon, which I was then able to change within Settings and Customer A

thanks again! That's the problem then, my edit button won't work! I'll see if I can find out why, unless you know this too at all?

Yes, go to Header settings -> Elements, and toggle on the cart icon:

It depends on which template and version you are using. Squarespace has a number of different template families on Squarespace 7.0, and a newer version called 7.1. The answer provided above is for 7.1 only. If you provide a working link to your site, we can check which version you are using.

In version 7.0 the cart option should be available in the Styles menu.
