How do I decrease the padding of the product variants dropdown field?

I'd like to know how to decrease the size of the padding on the dropdown fields for my product variants (I marked where in red). I've tried adjusting the font size and line height yet the padding is still much larger than I'd like. Is there any code I can use or a size slider that I missed? Thanks in advance.

Add this to Custom CSS: 

.ProductItem-details .variant-select-wrapper {
  padding: 0.5rem 1.5rem;
}
.ProductItem-details .product-quantity-input input {
    padding: 0.5rem 1.5rem;
}

Let me know if that has the desired effect.

The 0.5rem is the vertical padding value to adjust if you want more or less vertical padding.
